10 Funny Cartoons

by Curtoons

My entire entrepreneurial business and this exact website all came about because I one day decided I wanted to become a cartoonist. At the time I had been an advertising director for 12 years and was looking for a change. The only way I knew to make money at cartooning in the short term was to submit gag cartoons to magazines.

A career was born! I drew up literally hundreds of single panel cartoons and submitted them to magazines and newspapers. I had very few sales and hated mailing. That was the day I decided to build a website and post the cartoons online. That was 1999, and as they say, the rest is history. Here are 10 of my really funny gag cartoons.

Out of the hundreds of cartoon pictures and funny gags that I created, the single panel below is my all time most popular cartoon to date. I have many more single panel cartoons available for use at www.efunnycartoons.com.

#1. The Old Fart Cartoon

Funny Old Fart Cartoon

This old fart cartoon is also available on greeting cards and t-shirts. It has been my most popular cartoon for over 10 years. You have most likely seen it on other websites or in funny cartoon emails. This cartoon has been stolen and borrowed hundreds of times and has been around the world too many times to count.

#2. Tastes Like Chicken Gag

Funny Gag Cartoon

One of my personal favorite funny cartoons! This gag actually ran in the nationally syndicated New Breed comic strip years back. I’m always looking for a new take on old sayings and quotes.

#3. Funny Deserted Island Cartoon

Deserted Island Cartoon

One of the simplest cartoons I’ve created but one that says so much. LOL! This cartoon almost made it into the National Enquirer twice! It was rejected both times after making it to the final editorial round. It is always fun to take a stab at some of the long standing cartoon set ups.

#4. Prescription Drug Cartoon

Funny Medical Cartoon Picture

Another one of my favorite single panel cartoons. This one pretty much covers the humor found in the hype of new drugs combined with the reality of the high cost of health care.

#5. Going to the Dentist Cartoon

Going to the Dentist Cartoon

As much as we all hate going to the dentist we hate paying the bill even more. This funny cartoon covers both subjects in a humorous way. Let me know if you would like to use any of these funny cartoon pictures in your publication.

#6. New Age Milk Machine Cartoon

Funny Milk Farmer Cartoon

Everything is becoming more modern and dairy farmer is no different. You see a pop or water bottle vending machine on almost every corner these days. I took that concept one step further with this fun milk vending machine.

#7. Murphy’s Lawyer Cartoon

Murphy's Law Lawyer Cartoon

As far as funny lawyer cartoons go, this one is my favorite. What could be better than getting the lawyer that once defended Murphy! A great cartoon hitting upon several cliche’s.

#8. Funny Filtered Water Cartoon

Funny Filtered Water Cartoon

A great office water cooler cartoon. This one touches on the environment and how we have choices. We can drink from the corporate filtered water or we can stay green and drink from the politically correct non-filtered water.

#9. The Great Escape Cartoon

Convict on a Deserted Island Cartoon

This funny cartoon goes to show it’s not always better on the other side. I’ve combined the standard deserted island gag with the tunnel digging convict. There’s not only humor in the cartoon but irony.

#10. Funny Getting Old Cartoon

Funny Getting Old Cartoon

I think many of us can relate to this cartoon. The creaks and noises our bodies make as we get older is hilarious. I liked this cartoon so much I turned it into a greeting card and it is my most purchased anniversary card.

Let me know if you would like to license one of these cartoons for your next project or publication.
